Tin Powders

MMP Tin Powders are available in multiple grades, each characterized according to, for example, particle size, specific surface area, and apparent density. Tin powder grades are manufactured by a air-atomizing process in our modern, purpose-built facility.

Material properties are engineered by careful control of processing parameters, allowing us to offer tailored solutions to our  customers’ requirements.

Tin Powder are characterized by using only  high purity certified ingots, which result in a nodular or spheroidal morphology with Particle Sizes available from 20 – 200 Microns. Properties and, therefore uses vary with particle shape, size, specific surface area, and purity. Tin powders find applications in diverse markets and technologies.

Tin Powder is available in a variety of UN-approved packaging options, including 25kg sacks, 25-250kg steel drums

Applications

Tin Powders are used in very many applications, markets and technologies by virtue of the wide range of physical and chemical properties available.

Typical applications include pressed and sintered components, bearings and bushes, friction components, metallurgical alloying, decorative and architectural finishes, welding and brazing, diamond tooling, radiation shielding, surface engineering, electronics.
